Sometimes you want a game that can help you relax and take the stress out of life, sometimes you need a game where the game does the work for you and you get the satisfaction of spending the coins it produces on better miners.
Tap Heroes is that game.
Just like my other Reviews I'll be splitting this up into 3 categories:
Story
Gameplay
Other Features
Story
The game focuses on you controlling 3 characters, a swordsman, a mage and an archer. You kill endless waves of monsters. That's the story, no backstory just killing.
7/10 could feature a backstory
Gameplay
The games mechanics are simple. You help your minions by tapping on the monster to inflict damage or tapping on your heroes to heal them. It also generates money for you even when your computer is turned off.
There are 2 currencies in the game, coins (which can be obtained by killing monsters) and gems (which can be obtained by rare drops).
The game also features upgrades such as the banker which gives you double the amount of money. These upgrades can be bought via the gems you can collect which drop rarely.
You can also upgrade your heroes abilities with the coins you gather.
9/10 Solid gameplay.
Other Features
power ups, achievements and a level system is just the tip of the iceberg, and the fact you can leave the game running or not and still earn coins is a nice thought.
6/10 Some good features but needs some more.
Overall
7/10
9/10
6/10
= 22/30
A good game but not for everybody.
